Interactive Installation
Wakefield Exchange
Plywood, timber and emulsion
200x230x80cm
This work imagines the Rhubarb Festival as a playful, immersive garden space where visitors can step inside the world of rhubarb.
Inspired by Wakefield’s growing heritage, oversized leaves, roots and soil layers frame a house-like structure, referencing both cultivation and community.
Integrated seating and platforms invite people of all ages to pause, pose and interact with the installation, making it a welcoming selfie station that encourages shared moments and playful photography.
