Moving Murals: Community art project
2025
The Moving Murals exhibition celebrates young people’s creativity and their connection to community. Across five workshops in Banbury and Oxford, 64 participants used collage, lino printing, and sign writing to explore themes of place, identity, and local pride. Their artwork—now displayed at Oxford Parkway Station—captures the people, landmarks, and journeys that shape their lives.
Led by OxCRP with Word Fountain Family Arena and Banbury Madni Masjid, and created with artists Lorna Kerr and Bliss Hill, the project was supported by Chiltern Railways and Community Rail Network. Like a railway station, this exhibition brings together stories, connections, and shared journeys.
